Sylvester McCracklin, Jr. and Constance McCracklin are the Founders of H2D Entertainment, LLC. He was born in Belzoni, Mississippi on November 1, 1969 and she was born in Memphis, TN November 22, 1974. Sylvester lived in Chicago, Illinois for a short period and later relocated to Los Angeles, California where he lived for 24 years. Being in Hollywood sparked his interest for the arts and enhanced his ability as a writer and producer. While residing in Hollywood, CA, he was the writer and producer for The Heavenly Voices, a Gospel rap group, as well as a writer for the secular rap group, Black on Black. He also performed at various clubs in California, one of which was the popular, Upside Down Club. He also wrote a gospel song for Emotion Productions which was later released to Epic Records. Sylvester has made a variety of television appearances and was also an official Judge of the Apollo Kids Tour in Memphis, TN where he later relocated. Constance has studied Math Education and Accounting, but has a heart for business and the arts. She performed in the Show Choir during her High School years and have since performed with Sylvester as a lead gospel hip hop artist in the group Declaration of Christ. She also sang alto on the Blessed Beyond Belief record label and performed in Memphis, TN, Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA and a variety of other cities. Recently, Constance has studied under the leadership of Tasha Smith, of Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married, Why Did I Get Married Too, Meet the Browns, and For Better or Worse. through the TSAW Workshops. Between the two of them, Sylvester & Constance McCracklin has 5 boys Sylvester III, Rodney, Carlos, Andre, and Devin. Although written, years ago, God has recently inspired Sylvester to step out and produce the upcoming movie, stage play, book and soundtrack, The Forgotten Son, formerly written as Bastard Child: The Lifeless Soul. The writing of The Forgotten Son play has catapulted Sylvester and his wife, Constance into another dimension of their destiny together in the founding of H2D Entertainment, LLC, a multi-faceted, contemporary, cutting-edge entertainment company whose vision is to bring a practical and spiritual awareness and healing of physical and mental abuse through avenues such as theater, film, novels and musical entertainment that exemplifies professionalism and the highest level of excellence.H2D Entertainment’s mission is to educate and empower people to transition from where they are emotionally, mentally, and physically through plays, music, film and novels. In 2012, Sylvester & Constance McCracklin launched the S.C.R.A.M. Campaign, a public service campaign designed to bring awareness and prevent child abuse. This campaign caught the attention of the Shelby County Mayor, Mark Lutrell in Memphis, TN and prompted him to award The McCracklins with a proclamation that April 13th is H2D's official S.C.R.A.M. Day. The McCracklins have also been awarded the Humanitarian Award for the 2013 Stone Awards for the work that H2D Entertainment is doing through the S.C.R.A.M. Campaign. H2D Entertainment is "Changing lives through arts and entertainment & the S.C.R.A.M. Campaign to Stop Child Rape And Molestation." The McCracklins “out of the box” way of thinking is bringing change to not only Memphis, TN, where they currently resides, but is also guaranteed to positively impact other cities and even this whole nation.
